Türkiye Museum Entrance Fees for November 2026: Prices, Free Museums and Müzekart Access

WhatsApp

The current museum and archaeological site entrance fees in Türkiye for November 2026 have been compiled, highlighting Müzekart access for Turkish citizens and euro-based tariffs for international visitors.

Walking along the marble streets of Ephesus, exploring Göreme’s rock-cut churches or admiring the mosaics at Zeugma… When planning your trip, one practical question always comes up: how much should you budget for admission?

The answer depends on where you go and which admission scheme applies to you. A museum accepting Müzekart for Turkish citizens may charge international visitors a separate fee in euros. Other museums are free for both groups.

This guide is intended for November 2026 travel and reflects the published tariff checked on 29 October 2026. It should not be interpreted as a newly announced November price increase. Below, you will find selected museum and archaeological site prices, free attractions and closures that may affect your itinerary.

How to Read These Prices

The euro amounts in the tables are the published international visitor rates, except where stated otherwise.

“Müzekart accepted” does not mean admission is free for everyone. It indicates entry with a valid eligible card. The cost of purchasing the card is not included in these tables.

A published entrance fee also does not guarantee that a site or every exhibition room is open. Restoration, maintenance and exhibition work may restrict access.

Closures That May Affect November Visits

Knowing the price is only useful if you can visit the attraction when you arrive.

In the list checked on 29 October 2026:

  • Museum of Anatolian Civilizations: Galleries are marked as closed from 14 September 2026 to 2 March 2027. Confirm which areas, if any, remain accessible.
  • Akşehir Western Front Headquarters Museum: Listed as closed from 14 September to 14 November 2026. Confirm reopening before visiting after that date.
  • Silifke Atatürk House and Ethnography Museum: Listed as closed until 18 December 2026.

  • Özkonak Underground City, Nevşehir: Marked as closed.
  • Side Theatre and Pamukkale Antique Pool: Listed among closed sections.

Before Your November Museum Visit

Once you have worked out your admission budget, check three final details: is the museum open, when is last admission, and does your ticket include the section you want to see?

For open-air archaeological sites, confirm closing time and ticket-office closing time separately. If using Müzekart, bring your valid card and identification. Avoid treating a euro price converted at a fixed exchange rate as a guaranteed Turkish-lira payment amount.

This guide covers selected attractions from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism tariff. National Palaces, municipal museums and privately operated museums have separate pricing arrangements.
