Submit a Radar report →According to its entrance inscription, the mosque was built in 1849. It has a stone lower level, a wooden upper level and decorative chestnut woodwork. Floral carvings appear on the wooden mihrab, pulpit and gallery. Respect worship arrangements when visiting.

Rize is an intensely green Black Sea province of tea gardens, stormy rivers, waterfalls, highland settlements and the Kaçkar Mountains.
June to September provides the easiest highland access. Rain and fast weather changes remain possible.
Minibuses serve main valleys, but a car, driver or tour is useful for highlands and remote villages.
