Submit a Radar report →Sheikh Muhammed Bedevi Tomb is a historic religious site on elevated ground south of Kalleş Hill, west of central Kilis. Attributed to a figure also known as Sheikh Muhammed Arabi or Rıttali, the tomb is believed to date to the second half of the 14th century. The traveller Evliya Çelebi also mentions the person associated with this burial place. The square-plan structure features four arches and a pointed dome. Inside stands a wooden cenotaph covered with green cloth, without an inscription identifying its occupant. A significant stop on Kilis’s religious heritage routes, the tomb offers insight into the city’s spiritual history and local traditions of devotional visits.
